Stu necklace reprint nice, I know a lot of people like it, functional mithril gloves reprint nice i know a bunch of reprints people wanted.

I still don't know what The Brewmaster charm is trying to accomplish, I have a pouch of Tulz and I almost never use it.

Thanks for the feedback. Can you tell us why drinking a Potion as a free action when you start a combat is not something you like to do? Sorry for the dense question!

New player, but IMHO... they're consumable, situational, and don't always scale? Bull Strength at Normal is way different than at NM. Only so much room in the backpack and Potion of Fiery Ice Lager can be replaced by taking the damage and bringing a Cleric. Others mileage may vary.

I think I missed the initial reason for the demand for a reprint of the staff of power. Is it really just to get an effective slotless cast of a level 1 spell? If so, I guess I can see why it's not on the reprint list. I would have actually planned on using it as my primary weapon on my backup build.

It's been on and off the reprint list for 5 years. It needs to just be reprinted already

But it’s not in demand to actually be used, just to be a slotless Spell?

It's in demand as a commonly used item by Elf Wizards and is wanted by any Wizard main player.

Nightshade's is on the list specifically for Sneak Attacks, this is specifically on the list for it's room power. I see no difference

Well, the difference Would be one would be equipped the whole adventure and slid while the other is just there to act as a slotless buff. Given I dislike the idea of slotless altogether, I’m liking how Jeff is now tying this to a slot.

I don’t think wrist is the right spot, though, given the arcane set would overlap with this while both are in print.

Move it to the eye slot to give another set of eyes to pair with Cranston’s hat?

Nightshade's is used EXACTLY the same way. It's equipped for the sneak attack and swapped out once the sneak is completed. It's exactly used as a slotless sneak attack buff.

Wait what? You can swap weapons?

Yep. Melee and Ranged weapons are freely swappable at any time unless they are required to complete a set bonus.

I... Didn't know that. Thank you.

It costs a free action - be safe!

Also - whever you equip in coaching is what gets written on the card - technically if things change you should tell the DM.

E.g. no equipping a 2 handed melee weapon to get all kinds of melee damage bonuses, and then sliding Thor's for the expanded crit range. That would be, as Worf says, and act without honor.

A functional reprint would be fine, but if it is in a slot which conflicts with the greatest caster set out there, it is a waste of a token for any decent caster. When will the Cabal set be reprinted???

In TD lexicon, "Ranged" means spells and missile weapons that require a slide to hit.

sorry I'm dense but I haven't seen this clarified. Does the magebook require the scrolls to be sacrificed or are they kept?

The scroll tokens are kept and never turned in.

While we've got your attention on this topic, I assume this means:

"Spells that require a slide to hit, but not other spells, and missile weapons that require a slide to hit."

?

Crucially - Magic Missile, which does not require a slide, is not a Ranged attack in this terminology?

I ask because TDb says in various places:

"Remember: “Ranged” is an umbrella term that encompasses both missiles (physical items propelled through the air) and spells (cast magical effects)."

Which leaves open the question of whether Ranged includes non-slide spells.

I agreed with Ian's comment that changing it to STR must be less than or equal to 18 makes it a more fun build-around puzzle solving type token, but I'm happy to see this effect in the world in either iteration.

We removed the 18 STR requirement because it was not really needed. The flat limit of +10 to hit and damage makes it mostly irreverent...but I could be wrong.

Yeah...kind of a dumb rule...if you ask me. I am sure the guy who made that rule is regretting it now. Sorry. :(

Bracelets of Power feels very weak. Could it be cast as a spell and a free action? Or cast as a spell and not marked off the card? Or cast as a spell and double base damage once per room? Maybe something like double base damage only if the planar check is successful? Or bracelet of spell swapping for spells of same level or lower (upgrade to the charm)?

Alertness as a scroll plus a party with 10 CoAS is anything but weak. +20 to initiative.

I'm not loving the magebook as a neck item. I absolutely adore the flavor of it, wizards are all about extra flexibility and preparedness. That being said, gaining a bit of flexibility for level one spells in exchange for one of a bunch of solid neck tokens feels like a bad trade. I can't see ever equipping it. It'd be a lot better as a slotless token. If that's too powerful make it "slotless" but reduce the number of charms or ioun stones you can use.
