I enjoy transmutes much more than collecting.

When we were looking at a possible new Rothfuss dungeon, I was pushing for a transmute that was made of just Common junk
I came here to sing and collect tokens, and I'm alllll out of money.

At the minimum I would word this to work with the Charm of Treasure Boosting transmute

Turn in for +1 Treasure chip (Max +3 from all sources)

recipe = any 20 common tokens. Type does not matter

Will we see class card changes this year?

Will Intellect and Wisdom receive in-game effects this year?

I really wanted to see those this year. But at this point I'm kinda hoping Jeff waits a year.

Int/Wis impact should get locked in first, then class card redesigns taking that information into account, then new tokens can be properly balanced around those other changes.

Having those other changes arrive at the same time as having the new batch of tokens reviewed is going to mean that it all gets rushed and likely more than usual falls through the cracks.

My $0.02.

I thought the in game effect was going to be INT would give more tome slots and WIS more beads. Adding to spell damage and healing seems like a bad idea to me.

Spell Checks and Consumables
A lot of spell checks and consumables lose significant effectiveness at higher difficulties. Player health, player damage, enemy health, and enemy damage become high enough that the impacts of spell checks and consumables often do not merit the time to use them. I believe adding difficulty scaling to these effects would encourage the use of these spell checks and consumables, make them feel good to use them at all difficulties of play, and improve the health of the game.

(DDM) Dungeon Difficulty Modifier
An idea to enable spell check and consumable scaling would be to implement a scaling factor game mechanic that I will call Dungeon Difficulty Modifier (DDM).

As a Modifier, this value would be a static amount assigned by the dungeon difficulty. This could be, as an example, +0 for non-lethal and normal, +2 for hardcore, and +4 for nightmare. DDM could be noted as an acronym (+ DDM) or symbol (+💀) on spell checks and tokens the bonus should apply to.

Being able to specify the spell checks and tokens the bonus applies to would allow for targetted control for things that make sense to scale and keep others that should not from getting out of control.
