We're getting close. I'm only waiting to hear back from one more person who originally expressed interest.

I've officially added Arcanist and Raven to the Thursday runs, assuming they happen. We have enough people willing to drop Friday to let others run, but that assumes we can get 10 interested people for Thursday. We need at least 1 more person, possibly two if the person I'm waitng on can't do Thursday. Any interest?

I'm interested, but it depends on if I am accepted as a volunteer and if so, when I would be working.

GHC seems the best place for me to do that going forward, so we shall see

If we wind up with an unfilled spot, I can ghost one. Don't let that be the thing that prevents the runs. I almost never get a chance to run with Raven. And I have to keep you alive Dave

Please add KIM to Thursday - we would like to run together!

I will cover the $ of her ticket

ok, we're definitely good to go with two runs. Since Fiddy is open to ghosting our final spot on Thursday (if necessary), that puts us at a committed 10.

There are still 3 people who may be interested
Beertram
jedibcg
Wade

We still have 3 people listed on both runs, so I think we have room to accommodate everyone.

Also, just checking, is James our only VIG on these runs? Want to check, since it will be easier for a VIG to buy up the runs we need. I'm happy to do so for Thursday, but won't be able to try until the 27th.

Brian and I are excited to be on the Friday list! Our thanks to those who were willing to step out of the second run to allow others to try the mini-marathon.

Dave, I noticed that both Brian and Jackoftradze are listed as Rogue for the Friday run. How would you like to resolve that? Please let me know. Thanks.

I like this suggestion.

But to be honest I didn't even pay attention to class selections when putting the lists together. I'm hoping the two players can work it out. Or can we get an even thicker stylus and have them continuously do rogue boxes and the last one to fail gets to play rogue?

Fiddy - Ha!

Dave - I hope they can work it out too. Back when we played Normal, Brian used to practice with the HC/Nightmare stylus in the training room so the actual rogue box would feel easy by comparison. :)

Brian really likes being a Rogue, and has all the fun Rogue toys. However, he said that if he needs to play something else for this run, he will. Looking at what's already taken, and what we have strong builds for in our guild, Paladin, Bard, or Druid are options. I know the player list is subject to change for a few more days. Once it's final, we will have a couple of months before GHC to figure out who gets to be the Rogue.

I have to believe this group will work something out. I know Jackoftradz was also only available on Friday. Besides, we already have a legendary rogue on Thursday.

Based on feedback thus far, we're good to go with 2 mini-marathons at GHC.

Please see the 1st post for confirmations as I've captured them. If anything is not correct please let me know. We are planning to buy out these runs during VIG registration on 7/20. James and Fiddy will secure the runs for us. Thank you to both!

At the moment, 3 people are signed up for both days (Andrew Knoll, Jeff321 and Cliff). If anyone else can confirm interest by the 19th, I think we'd like to accommodate as many people as possible and could reduce them to 1 day. After the 19th, it will be up to them if anyone else wants to join as to whether or not they are willing to give up a day.

Once the runs are secured we can work to reconcile any class selection issues. Hopefully, everyone has enough flexibility to resolve conflicts. The runs will be "at least" Nightmare level. If available, the groups running can decide if they want to try this at Epic. All of this along with any other rule variances can be resolved after Gen Con (we'll have 2+ months to work it out).

Thanks again to everyone for their interest. I'm excited to try this out.
