TOPIC: Pumpkin of Gratitude

Another splendid con!

I sometimes go through weeks of crazy work hours and barely see my teenagers. Aly is 17 (a junior), Katie is 15 (a sophomore) and we all game together. But as they get older I worry about ‘running out of time’ before they head off to college.

I mark our TD weekend as special times to hang out and goof around with my friends, but especially my daughters.

This year, Guildy McGuildface brought some Halloween cheer. Brian and BeLinda cleverly thought to have the girls ‘reverse trick or treat’ and pass out candy as we travelled from room to room. Giving the volunteers some candy was an awesome holiday idea!

Aly created the best ever con logo for the guild. Our mascot (named ‘Quacky McDuckface’ by BeLinda) in his Halloween costume. Handing out stickers was fun as always.

I’d like to thank our ever-patient and gracious volunteers: from passing out wrist bands, through last minute changes to the party card in the coach’s room, to all the GMs in the adventures and awesome NPC volunteers, to our treasure distributors....you all were a fine bunch of hosts for our adventures! Guildy McGuildface appreciates all of you and the rest of the TDteam, as well as Jeff and company for creating this lovely game.

Ps. Whoever left a little ‘trick’ in our pumpkin of treats is an especially clever little devil.
