TOPIC: Groups at game hole

I was wondering how difficult it is to find a non PuG group for game hole after gen con? I have a group of 4 that always goes but this year we have 4 new people running at gen con and am unsure if they would be willing to also goto game hole.

I don’t want to buy out a run of 10 if I’m only gonna be a group of 4 but I don’t want to buy 4 if some of the other want to come to game hole also. We are HC geared and I would prefer to run that if possible.

Maybe if you had said you would be willing to play NM with help and have COA's...

But honestly, there will be many forumites there willing to play with you. I'd be surprised if you couldn't fill your runs.

I have only been playing TD for a year now and I have found so many groups looking for people. I would honestly say a good 70% of my runs have been with forum folks. Post up in the GHC section that you are looking for runs and keep an eye out.

That’s what I was hoping thanks. If it just the 4 core people that play they would be willing to try NM but I only have two CoA’s and no CoAS

I have a feeling Beertram was mostly joking with the first part. It is good to communicate with the groups to see what their expectations are for the run. But please do not feel you have to have CoA's and have to be epic geared to get into a run.

That's not always true sir...

Honestly most of my runs these days are via the forums or organizing with other formites to buy out runs. I'm a HC+ player that'll be looking for runs at GHC but there's this whole wall of a con called Gen Con that i'm sure i'm the not the only one waiting to get past before scheduling. Plus GHC general event scheduling is a week after TD so i'm waiting to see what DnD events i get into yet.
