EM does seem out of line. The other factor when comparing it to some tokens is that it is also an in-game consumable. In effect, this is going to make it too valuable to consider using in play. Seems like kind of a waste to even make a token that just goes straight to the chipper.

+1

I am happy to see increased requirements for DP, MS, and PS, but I agree that EM in particular seems really high. EM won’t stay at $2 in the secondary market for long if there is going to be this much demand for it.

Enchanter's Munition is the only non fleece trade good I've had need to purchase in the last four years and I was incredibly happy that it was so cheap to get.

Breaking out an average of $3000 in token buys or more each year and making relatively few transmutes I continuously find myself extremely short on munition.

A recipe requiring 2 or 3 seems like a fine number to me, recipies requiring 10+ seem EXTREMELY over valued and I echo the centiments of everyone else in this thread in wondering what the secondary market price of munition will hit if these lists stay as designed.

$10 each munition does not seem out of range at the current numbers.

$15 each or more seems possible with the sheer volumes these transmutes would be soaking up.

That seems pretty extreme for a tier one transmute token.

I would much rather see recipies requiring 10+ mystic silk and darkwood planks over Munition any day of the week.

If you want to push high costs into transmutes aim it at the trade bit sponges like MS and DP

I to would like to see an option to substitute a +2 holy great sword.

The sneaky necklace accepted Shoes of the Sneak or Boots of the Underdark and the legendary lute had a recipe that took the old instruments so there is president.

This transmute is also coming out a year after its base component so it will be harder to make during its second year when the base component is OOP, taking otherwise devalued +2 holy great swords as an option would eliminate some of that pressure while leaving more useful +2 holy avengers on the market for people unable to make the transmute.

It could arguably even be seen as a way to encourage players who bought an obsolete UR for RP purposes to make the jump to more involvement by offering them a transmute path. Anyway please consider it, possibly as an alternative in the relic, or for the flaming blade in the legendary, thanks

more inline recipe for Gem of Last Hope

Gem of Last Hope
· Potion Death’s Door (any year)
· Earcuff Vitality (any year)
· Potion Revival Root
· 1,000 GP
Either Trade goods or Monster Bit
· 6× Darkwood Plank
· 6× Philosopher’s Stone
OR Two of the following:
o Blight Bud
o Fiend Talon
o Lamia Scale
o Slayer Tentacle
o Stalker Blood
o Swamp Hag Venom

I am also sad to see +3 Avenger not take +2 Holy Great Sword or +2 Holy Avenger

Overall I feel like trade good requirements more then doubling for relics and Legendaries are insane, Comparing them to relics of the past quanties are more then double many of them.

Add Potion Revival Root to that too. Druegar confirmed it one of the posts back.

This is exactly what I thought. It would make that consumable ammo less consumable and more transmutable

I think all of the increases in trade good Tokens are fine. EM might be a tad high though but let's face it there's probably still a boat load of goods out there in the market. Even with the increases I don't see prices on the secondary market changing much for any if the Goods.

I disagree entirely. There can't be enough trade goods out there to absorb this kind of increase. The cost has gone up dramatically over the last couple of years as well, even using auction prices.

For the following items, I'm using weighted average prices from the last 3 auctions.

2017 Redoubt Shield
55 Trade goods. Price of trade goods 238.72

2018 +3 Throwing Hammer of Smiting
61 Trade goods (10% increase). Price of trade goods - 278.06

2019 Lute of Free Fury
65 Trade goods (18% increase from 2017). Price of Trade goods 299.62

Necklace of the Drake
119 trade goods (214% increase from 2017!). Price of Trade goods 364.76

Year on year it looks like the number of trade goods need was increasing around 10%, which was fine. Now we suddenly get a huge jump - almost double in quantity in from 2019, and 4x to 10x+ increases on some trade goods that seem to still generally be in demand. Most recipes didn't need Munitions, now they need 10. Dwarven steal goes from the 5(ish) range to 20.

I get there is a desire to create a sink for Stone / Plank ./ Silk, but the new recipes sometimes don't even increase the count at all (10x stones for Necklace of the Drake vs 12 needed for the +3 throwing hammer), and when it does increase, it only doubles.

I predict that these recipes will cause bottlenecks on some or all of: Enchanter's Munitions, Dwarven Steel, Minotaur Hide, and possibly Parchment. If the recipes are bottlenecked anywhere, fewer will be made and there will be no sink for Stone / Plank / Silk, so those prices will fall even further.

When a 2k order isn’t enough to ensure the ability to make a Relic, that’s a problem.

Completely agree that the jump in goods needed this year is bordering on extreme. I agree with everyone when PS/DP/MS need to be soaked but why not just raise their requirement (even if by a ton) and lower the others? Keep the relative price of the craftable the same by adding more lower level ones?

I am not looking forward to trade good cost if the recipes aren't reigned back in. MS/DP/PS will be the only affordable goods. EM will skyrocket due to what others have said. I've been playing seriously for two years now, spent a couple thousand from the store proper, and have only been able to transmute like 2x EM.
