Just a suggestion dropping earcuff and monster bit and replace with any 2019 completion token.

I love this idea!

Cue the cries of "this should have been announced in advance" if it happens.

Then make it any 2020 or 2021 completion token. Also consider that the GP cost is reduced if a rare completion token is used. So UC completionin token and 500GP or rare completion token amd 100GP or UC and rare completion token and no GP.

I think 2019 completion (much like 2019 bits) would be right for a 2020 token.

I would also like the idea of a 2019 or 2020 completion token, or any special (diamonds near initials) 2019 or 2020 token.

5× Alchemist’s Ink
5× Alchemist’s Parchment
1× Aragonite
15× Darkwood Plank
5× Dwarven Steel
1× Elven Bismuth
5x Enchanters Munition
1× Golden Fleece
1× Minotaur Hide
10× Mystic Silk
1× Oil of Enchantment
10× Philosopher’s Stone
5,000 GP in Reserve bars

Or without the extra UR
Ring of the drake
10× Alchemist’s Ink
5× Alchemist’s Parchment
1× Aragonite
20× Darkwood Plank
5× Dwarven Steel
2× Elven Bismuth
5x Enchanters Munition
1× Golden Fleece
5× Minotaur Hide
15× Mystic Silk
2× Oil of Enchantment
15× Philosopher’s Stone
5,000 GP in Reserve bars

Giving me a choice to just get any old ur from you means I can order 4 of what I want, and use the extra if I like it, or trade it if it’s worth it, or just upgrade what I already wanted to get from you. It means that no UR ever is bad. Good tokens will stay and bad will just stay in collections. And old tokens with low evaluations don’t become garbage, they retain a value regardless.

It does mean that the anti-social can just do their ordering, get their needs met, and don’t ever have to visit the forums, or talk with token traders. This may be undesired, we may not want those who don’t like to haggle in our game, but I know one couple who would love to never have to trade.

I think we we welcome everyone into True Dungeon, including those that don't like haggling and trading. :)

Am i the only one that finds this comment a bit ironic coming from mike?

Ironic? I've always been in favor of welcoming everyone into True Dungeon, no matter your type of play style or token trading / buying style. :)

It should be 3 Completion Tokens at a minimum. Or maybe 4. You get a completion Token for every run. Some are worthless on the secondary market. No guarantee of a monster bit when you run. You have to pull one. Completion Token is no where = Monster Bit.

The amount of minotaur hide and dwarven steel in these recipes is too high for my tastes. This is particularly noticeable when comparing 2020 recipes with their 2019 counterparts immediately printed below.

I propose -5 minotaur hide and -5 dwarven steel from each of the relic and legendary recipes. In turn, I propose +5 darkwoord plank, +5 Mystic Silk, and +5 Philosopher's Stone.

This would allow for an increase in overall trade goods, which seems quite reasonable year over year, without requiring more of the trade goods which can't be easily made from treasure pulls.

Hopefully this is specific and rational enough to not be blithely ignored.

Considered and disregarded would be fine.

I think you could go +10 Plank, Stone and Silk for the Relics and Legendaries and still be ok.

I would agree to that change as well, in the interests of healthy compromise.

I agree, bumping up Plank, Stone & Silk and reducing Hide & Steel would work for me.

If you want to do it on value then keep the original earcuff of vitality with no option, 1K GP and 2019 monster bit and skip any option of using completion tokens.

Using completion tokens add options to players but introduce another variability to the value of goods turned in.

Received my 2020 Token Reference guide and was looking over the recipe for the Ranger class item. Suffice to say...WTF???

· 2× Aragonite
· 25× Darkwood Plank

· 2× Enchanter’s Munition
· 1× Golden Fleece
· 10× Minotaur Hide
· 25× Mystic Silk
· 1× Oil of Enchantment
· 15× Philosopher’s Stone
· 5,000 GP in Reserve Bars

Ralson’s Pendant of the Elder Yew
· Pendant of the Yew
· +1 Mighty Short Bow
· Lenses of Agility
· 15× Alchemist’s Ink
· 15× Alchemist’s Parchment
· 2× Aragonite
· 30× Darkwood Plank
· 15× Dwarven Steel
· 2× Elven Bismuth
· 3× Enchanter’s Munition
· 2× Golden Fleece
· 20× Minotaur Hide
· 30× Mystic Silk
· 1× Oil of Enchantment
· 25× Philosopher’s Stone
· 25,000 GP Eldritch Bar
plus ONLY ONE of the following:
o Wish Ring
o 15,000 GP in Reserve Bars

First off, I love the 2020 set. I think it's one of the best sets to come out since I've been playing.
I've been looking forward to upgrading my Ranger with the new class-specific neck item. I saved my gold, trade tokens, and monster bits like a good little boy. :)

That being said, looking at these recipes, I think someone is overdoing it. The amount of AI, AP, MH, & GF is a bit much. Especially considering how hard it is to get these in such quantity. Pretty sure a tweak is needed to lower these down a bit.

I get these recipes are written in stone and won't be changed for one schlub like myself. But you've made it easier for me to decide NOT to spend money on this item. In fact, the way the recipes keep asking for more and more like this, it makes it easier to NOT spend money on the tokens at all.

I'm severely disappointed :(
