Wondering about this as well.

As mentioned earlier, I don't think this set needs anything - but if it must have a set bonus one that buffs consumables seems good.

Maybe +1 to healing and damage scrolls, and damage wands?

Gotta get back that +1 to damage wands we lost late in design on the Fluorite cube :)

I don't think that is enough of a bonus to motivate equipping all three UR Arcane items.

I'd rather it be +2 to all potions, scrolls, and wands, though I can understand wanting to lean into the damage side of things since that was more in the old Arcane classification and Divine had more healing.

If Jeff was thinking about doing a Divine set for 2021, I'd save +2 to all healing scrolls and wands for that set, and make Arcane set have +2 to all damage scrolls and wands. If there's an Alchemist set, +2 when you eat/drink cure items and +2 to hit and damage with consumable thrown weapons (seeds, stones, and the like with damage wheels). Or something like that.

If the Arcane set is supposed to be covering all casters, though, then straight +2 to all damage/healing scrolls and wands would be great on top of everything else the set provides.

+2. Like these thoughts. Encouraging the use of consumables via the purchase of more PYPs is a sound strategy for TA.

If we want to encourage the use of consumables, why not let the set bonus be the free use of a scroll, potion, or wand (that your class can use) once a turn? Or even just once per combat.

There are a number of items that already confer using Potions / Scrolls / wands as free actions. Not that I'm opposed to this as a set bonus - just pointing out that given how awesome this set is that those other items may be forever obsolete.

I really feel this is the most important question left unanswered by TPTB.

Many of the existing tokens that convey those abilities are 1/combat. So conveying a set bonus of 1/combat doesn't necessarily obsolete the older tokens, but could make interesting synergies with them.

I can see the reasoning behind granting free action consumable 1/room, but I feel that empowering them with a +2 bonus will go much further towards encouraging their use.

Or add it in with the set. +2 to consumable and consume as a free action 1/room. For a three UR set, that seems pretty solid to me.

Related to Jeff's answer in the locked thread, stating that Fury didn't trigger all of the weapons that require a natural 20.

Jeff, if those aren't going to trigger, you might as well remove the '20' language and either go with something like I suggested or just flat out say if a Fury! attack hits it is automatically a critical.

I really feel this is the most important question left unanswered by TPTB.

I wonder if it's something TPTB have been heavily debating since we haven't gotten an answer and the question has been asked repeatedly.

Little slow but he did confirm earlier today that it stacks and you can get +3 guard.

I saw his answer a bit after I posted. It's hard to keep up with all the posts during token creation!

All the URs on your buy list will be deleted or nerfed. :P

Actually, I’m hoping for minor changes at this point.
