Due to several reasons, we have decided to start and end the token development process in July rather than September. This may or may not effect the pre-order delivery time, but we will still start the pre-order time on Nov. 1st as before.
This will be a "special" year for TD adventures as we will be starting a new story-arc, we are presenting three "special" modules, and the tokens will be centered around the three "special" modules that should be much fun to play. One will be in the Underthing (the underbelly of a wizard school) in the world of Pat Rothfuss. Another will be a classic haunted house adventure where players must banish a baneful presence, while the last one will task the group with surviving the legendary Tomb of Terrors.

UR "Arcane" Set Bonus - Wearing all three of these items will gain a character +2 healing from any healing Spell received

UR "Lucky" Set Bonus - Wearing any two of these items will gain a character +5 hit points

New Multi-Year Token Set - Over the next four years we will release four Shirts that will give bonus/penalties toward the STR, DEX, CON stats and the final year will have a “Focus” power (+2 to healing, damage spells & polymorph damage) . At the end of the four years, all four can be combined so they make one Shirt that gives +2 to all those 3 stats – and have the Focus power.

The 4-Year Shirt will not be an Eldritch item. We are capping the Eldritch set at five. It is time to forge a new line of multi-year tokens that hopefully will use hidden RFID chips to make some cool effects for the players. Any "set" benefits won't be manifest for many years (since it takes two of these multi-year tokens), but I would not rule out giving the first "Arcanum" multi-year token (light purple token that's coming in four years) a cool little RFID chip enabled ability. I have so many cool ideas.

Finally, I want to thank all the TD players from the Lords and Ladies section that gave me some amazing feedback on the first images posted there. The whole TD Community owes them a big thank you.

Hi Jeff,

What if you made the Rare Mail of Luck (maybe change it to Lucky Mail, with the same bonuses) and the Rare +1 Wooden Shield (maybe change that to Lucky Shield at +2 AC and +1 Saves) part of the Lucky Set also? That way, someone could outfit two UR, or two Rare, or one of each and still get the Set bonus. And maybe add Druid back to the Rare Mail. That's a fun way to give the set bonus to different levels of token buyers. :)

Thanks,
Mike

Interesting idea, kinda like it.

Regretting getting my kilt now that there's no more Eldritch. Still like the idea of a piece that can count for either set.

Odd that the base URs (especially Monk) look or feel like they do more than the higher transmute?
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

Looked at party cards and the Player's Handbook, and can't find an answer.

Can anyone tell me what 'Fury' is?

It's on the barbarian transmutes.
Cheapest Shinies available!
Find it cheaper somewhere else? Let me know and I'll beat it

I think it must be Greater Rage and a mistake because 5th level Barbarian don't get Rage, they get Greater Rage.....this is just a thought.
You either discover a star or you don't. You arrogant punk.

Same question. Thanks for asking.

The wording doesn't seem to go with that. But could just be a mistake.

Tokens say:
"+2 Rage use and fury (1/game)"

If they meant greater rage the better wording would be "+2 rage/fury use"

The current wording makes me think (hope) it's something new and neat since it has a separate usage rule versus the rage on the token.

I think it may be something else. 1/room on the Legendary makes Fury sound like something that happens for a shorter duration instead of lasting for the combat like Rage. So it would be a new ability.

Or, maybe Jeff is future-proofing for a change he plans to make to the Barbarian card in 2021?

Then again, maybe you're right and the 1/room is just so that when the Barbarian gets Mazed they can't re-use it?

I really wish Jeff believed in using the Oxford Comma. *Sigh*

I guess the Rare would have to be something like Lucky Wooden Shield, so it was different from the UR.

We could also modify the Plate Armor to Lucky Half Plate Armor at +7 AC and +1 Saves. :)

This is a fun idea. It would be nice if we could make it work.

One persons opinion, but I like this years set. Some different effects and a good blend through the different rarities. I see a lot for a player with a Rare only build, to like. Some interesting commons also, which should get new players interested.

No issues for me. Thank you Jeff and Druegar for another great token set!
