I like tokens that would expand the experience, like being used outside the dungeon. Runestones turned in during coachind, or the nuggets giving treasure draws. I'm having trouble coming up with a meaningful idea for an alternative.

It might be easier to come up with ideas if we had some inspiration, like what is next year’s theme?

I would love to see more stat dependent gear as opposed to class dependent. Like Thor’s hammer.

This will be a "special" year for TD adventures as we will be starting a new story-arc, we are presenting three "special" modules, and we have decide to "go back to the basics" with regard to Common-Rare weapon and armor design. So, instead of something like a "Bogling Hand Axe", there will just be a "Hand Axe"...or instead of "Drow Chainmail" there will be just plain "Chainmail". However, the rest of the tokens will be centered around the three "special" modules that should be much fun to play. One will be in the Underthing (the underbelly of a wizard school) in the world of Pat Rothfuss. Another will be a classic haunted house adventure where players must banish a baneful presence, while the last one will task the group with surviving the legendary Tomb of Terrors.

Armor for Rogues that includes a to-hit on sneak attack bonus. (Boots of the Underdark and Shoes of Sneaking have it, but many players will be switching to the Rogue Relic/Legendary and will be wearing other Feet items.) It would also be an upgrade from Drow Death Armor.

A good brain (slotless): +3 will save

Lenses of hindsight : gain the ability of any token you own but are not equipping (1/game) note: you must show the token to the DM.

Seems to me that saves already have too much variance, affecting trying to balance challenges. What I often want when working on misc. builds is a bonus to Will Saves but certainly not slotless. For those who don't want to give up the head slot for Will, can put it at another slot (obviously not back or finger). Of course, between Crown, Ring, Cloak, Charm at rare can jack Will already, so maybe it isn't that great of an idea to add yet another slot, though Charm of Enlightenment is not in print and there's all the talk of it being OP if Wisdom does more.

In general, unless it's class specific, I'm not a fan of more slotless good stuff. Save slotless for weird corner case effects or class specific benefits that would not see use if it was slotted.

Is that the brain that was scooped out of the Skull of Sacrifice? ;)

If INT and/or WIS become meaningful stats, some tokens to boost them.
