So sorry I was unable to make this run because of a weather related canceled flight had me in Indy a day late. Next year I will make sure I get in a day early to add some buffer. Hope the run went well.

Question for the Team Synergy folks:

With transmutes expiring soon, I'd like the group's feedback. I'm considering making a Charm of Awakened Synergy. I have Charm of Synergy but would have to buy a Charm of Awareness along with some of the trade goods. I may or may not be able to do the transmute in time.

Considering that many of Team Synergy's veterans have multiples of these tokens already, should I try to make it? Or, would my resources be better allocated to other PYPs to improve my stats?

I liked having my own Charm of Synergy as a way of "paying my dues" so-to-speak, but I almost never actually need it.

Thoughts?

I think it depends on who is in the group. I have three CoAS, but they’re usually taken up by me and my two friends that play at GenCon (and, it appears, my kids at other cons). Some have extras, others don’t. I do have ten Charms of Synergy. That said—I don’t normally see the Awakened effect as being absolutely required for everyone on the Synergy runs (as we have done with the CoS itself).

You, as well! Great groups this year. Things were a bit out of sorts due to our lack of success with ticket purchases—for example, I know William didn’t get as many runs with us as he, or we, would have liked—but I think this was one of my favorite years overall for the Synergy runs.

We are going to further expand the ticket buying group for GenCon next year. In the meantime—be on the lookout for Team Synergy posts for the other conventions. Personally, I will be at PAX South with my son—and now my daughter Is planning to come to Origins with my son and me next year, as well!

I started a thread about Pax West in the adventure groups forming section. There are still a few full runs available late Saturday night.
