Does anyone have a must try or must avoid list they'd like to share?

Usually I make it a point to get something from Der Pretzel Wagen and Island Noodles, but I've been looking to expand my horizon and would love some suggestions.

Legendary Kitchen.

They're only at the con two evenings, so you'll have to check the schedule.

Serendipity is by far my favorite truck.

Last year I really enjoyed Dhaba Indy and Wild Boar BBQ, and though it's been five years, I remember really liking Da Blue Lagoon.

No matter what truck you go for, be sure to give yourself a LOT of time because the lines can get really long.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

This is the reason I have no specific recommendations.
I don't have that kind of free time at GC.

We did the food trucks last year, probably for the last time, for that reason. It took WAY too much time away from GENCON fun. :)

Hot Box Pizza was good last year. They had a D&D themed pizza last year I thought was really good.

If you avoid the lunch (11:30 - 1:30) and dinner (5:30-7:30) periods, I've found it pretty reasonable. My experience is that the lines are usually less than 10 minutes long during off-peak times.

Someone could earn decent cash just waiting in lines for people. I’m surprised nobody has started that as a side enterprise yet. Gencon is an example - SDCC you’d make a killing. Picture asking $30/hr to wait in lines. It’s a dull job but people would pay it.

Johnson’s BBQ (the orange truck) is solid. Reliably tasty and reasonably priced for a convention food truck. I was glad to see them on the schedule again.
