what time is your run

9:12am

anyone with CoA is first in. if you have a run sooner, you will be bumped to front. Transmutes should be close to coaching area. so you should be fine9especially if I get to open early)

Newer player. How long of a line is there generally for transmutes? I'm hoping to get some done during a break period of a game on the field, and want to know if I'll have enough time or if I should have someone else do it for me.

In my experience, when they first open each day it can take while (15-30 mins). After that the line tends to die down and you can just walk in.

Gen con has no drop offs
as of right now it is 9-11am and 4-6pm Thur,Friday and saturday
I am trying to get it open at 8am all days since runs start at 830am...for sure it is 9-11am and 4-6pm Thur,Friday and saturday (i have those times in my volunteer schedule)

Forgive my ignorance—what does “no drop offs” mean? All of our previous transmutes were done via mail or in person at Origins/GHC. This will be my first time making a legendary at GenCon, so I want to be sure I understand the rules/timing. Thanks.

Thanks! There's a Twilight Imperium tournament on the field from 8-2, so should be a reasonable amount of downtime where I can take a "bio break" to run over, transmute, and run back ;)

At Gen Con you wait in line, and then they process your transmutes for you immediately while you wait. You don't drop off and then come back to pick up when it's done like at GHC or Origins. It is usually quick though because they don't do trade goods at GC.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Newbie here to transmutation. During these transmute hours is it only for certain items or can i get trade tokens from them (alchemist ink, aragonite, etc)? I'm working on making the kilt of dungeonbane but haven't sent in my excess tokens for transmute so i was wondering if i can do it there.

Gencon does not allow for transmutation of trade goods. Origins and GHC do.

So you will not be able to make things like aragonite or alchemist’s ink.

However you can sometimes find people who are willing to trade you straight up for the trade goods especially if they are the last few things you need to make something.
Cheapest Shinies available!
Find it cheaper somewhere else? Let me know and I'll beat it

One more quick question: do we need to print out and complete an order form sheet in advance, complete with labels, verification checkboxes, etc., like a mail-in order?

Since you will be waiting in line and the idea is to get people in and out fast (due to no trade goods) I would definitely recommend doing this.

I believe in the past they have allowed all transmutes from those travelling internationally to Gen Con.
