TOPIC: Pax SOUTH 2020

Well, as if I didn't have enough to do the next few days (buying GHC tickets, leaving for Gencon), I got an email saying that Pax South 2020 badges go on sale August 1.

Have we gotten confirmation that TD will be at Pax South 2020? I recall Jeff saying somewhere something like "We plan to be, but it hasn't been finalized yet" (and in my head, this was followed by "jeezus people settle down".)

I'll be volunteering again, so presumably I don't need to buy a badge.

But, cmon. It's crazy hectic, all this gaming.

I’ll probably just buy a badge after gencon and assume TD will be there. And I’ll put in for vacation time.

The worst is when event reg opens for one con while you're attending a different con. That happened for me this year

I'm going to have to decide about PAX South. It was good this year, but I'm leaning towards skipping it. Just kind of hard to get to and not enough vacation days for everything.

Just means I have to buy my badge during GenCon!

I'm going either way, but it's not listed on TDvols yet, so it's not "real" to me yet.

I'll talk to the boss today and see if we can get the TD volunteer app updated. Stay tuned.

PAX South at GC.

Do they run out of badges? I planned on just looking at it when I get back.

South will run out of 3 day badges at some point (generally not right away).

So far, it's usually possible to get 3 one-day badges late in the year.
