UPDATE 2: Spot is taken. Thanks for the interest, folks!

UPDATE: We have six tickets and five players in TDA18137643. Four are level 6-7 players, and one has 1-2 runs under his belt.

We had one person back out because of a changed work schedule. We have one extra ticket for this event. Comment here and/or PM me if interested!

If you're in the event with us, let's talk character classes so we can know what tokens to bring beforehand. See you there!

Hi Alvis, I just wanted to drop by and say you might have better luck finding the others on your run if you put the day (Thursday) in your title. Not everyone searches by event ID.

Hope you find the rest of your group!

Hey, I've got a ticket in this time slot! Would be great to coordinate, maybe meet up beforehand, even grab a bite or a beer? Last year was my first time doing TD, and I had an amazing time in both the sessions I did, but I've heard that it can kinda suck if your group doesn't get along well. Ran with a buddy last year, but I'm attending Gen Con solo this year, so I really don't want to end up with a bad group dynamic and blow all this money on a bad time . . .

Oh, and I'm for sure gonna play as one of the memory-based classes (prefer Wizard but open to others), since my memory is great and my hand-eye coordination is THE WORST.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! Definitely grab a memory-based class. Most of us excel at hitting things more than thinking... Here's what people have told me about their preferences so far:

Bard - Daniel
Fighter - Jayson
Monk - Dave
One of the wizards - John
Dwarf - Mrs. Daniel
Barbarian - myself

Do you prefer human or elf wizard? We're going to finish building characters next Tuesday, but here's how they look currently:

We have some builds we aren't using but might bring just in case. We're going to try to be at the prep room when it becomes available (what, an hour before the start time? I forget.)

Last year I went Elf Wizard for both of my sessions. Would love to stay with it, but also don't mind swapping to human if John is itching to be an elf. I've got some basic gear for the class, nothing too expensive or fancy. Will probably drop some money at one of the token re-sellers Thursday afternoon, unless you guys are kitted out to high heaven and don't mind sharing some gear. I'll also have some healing scrolls on hand for the cleric to use on me, because wizards are squishy and I'd rather not die.

I didn't build my character in advance last year- is there an advantage to it? Happy to get on that, if it'll help. I'll definitely plan on being in the prep room an hour before go-time, in either case.

And FYI, I get INVOLVED in the puzzle rooms. Love them to death. I don't think anything at the con makes me geek out harder. So be prepared for some high level enthusiasm from your wizard in those rooms. I apologize in advance.

LOL. That's great-- the more brain power on those puzzles the better. I either get puzzles or don't it seems. As the barbarian my puzzle job is typically to be the hands on the lever, so to speak. "We think this is right, but it might just zap you... have the barbarian do it". I've been electrocuted, poisoned, turned to stone and back... it's all good.

The advantage to building characters beforehand is partly to settle any arguments about classes, and partly to get the party card printed. If the card is complete when the coach arrives, you typically all get a HP bump.

I think he prefers human, so feel free to be the elf. I love having that initiative spell in the party!

Hi Alvis, I have one of the tickets in this time slot. In the past, I've run Cleric and Paladin but I'm fine filling whichever role the group needs.

Feel free to PM me if you want to work out the details ahead of time. Looking forward to running with you all!
