TOPIC: Reverse Transmute App wanted

Ok, so imagine a semi casual player app has amassed a lot of tokens and wants to know what he can do with them, but doesn't have the time or inclination to spend hours looking up each item.

Has someone thought of a reverse database lookup where I type in all the tokens I HAVE and it spits out all the things I can make, all the things I'm one type of item away from, 2 types, e.t.c.

Have you seen Token Transmuter ?

Even for non veteran transmuters that looks like a useful app

I played with transmuter and didn’t see how to make it work the way Taylor is suggesting...

I think what he’s thinking is something that will let new and intermediate players input a list of tokens they may wish to get rid of and get back the things they can transmute/the things that they are close to... maybe with a list of what they still need....might be a worthy challenge for the code-minded out there...

NOW- if transmuter can do that... please would someone give a brief tutorial on/explain how I get to that functionality....?


Also bear in mind that I can be quite oblivious - so I’m not kidding that if what I’m asking for is there - I may have completely missed it!

For what you are describing, the best way to handle it would be to start by selecting all the reasonable transmutes for your token level. You can then enter inventory for all the transmute related tokens.

The next screen will show which transmutes have all the necessary parts.

At least with the present app, that's the only option.
