Hope so, may need to break open a bottle of mead a little sooner in toast in for good weather and good health this con. Was planning on saving it for con itself.

Back to internal debate of can i stuff an actual jacket in my bag and still fit the essential tokens for this con..

Thanks for the weather updates,

Now they are saying to expect 1 to 3 inches of snow on Friday. Yes, it's Wisconsin, but this will likely be the first snowfall of the year. The roads will be slick and some drivers will just not be used to it yet. If you're driving, be careful out there.

Lots of people are stay at the Non-Clarion hotels that are only a 5-10 walk.
I guess everyone now has to drive it.
At least parking is free.

By the time you walk to your car in the hotel lot and from your car in the Aliant lot, it won't be much different.

Also, wasn't there a shuttle from the Sheraton last year?

As someone who's driving in from an hour+ out each morning, this is less than ideal. And of course Friday is the day I have a prior commitment, so "leave earlier" isn't an option. Hopefully it'll melt by the time I get there.

Wisconsin is pretty good about getting roads cleared. Exceptions tend to be unusually early or late season snows.

Well, another thing about Wisconsin is that the weather is highly variable. We're still six days from Friday and by then it might be party Sunny and no precipitation to a downright blizzard with over six inches of snow. Current forecast is still calling for snow, but less than an inch. It'll change a couple of times each day between now and then. But am feeling pretty certain it will be cold.
