Agree.

td events refund is easy and does not require contacting someone.

GenCon carries over without contacting someone.

Prefer td events since it is the easiest.

Curious myself, Depending on what they needed i might consider a part time or setup or teardown shift for GHC. GHC is 11 hour drive for me but i'd consider driving in a day early or so if i could get a really cheap deal on hotel if they're short on setup people. I'm far enough in Gen Con prep that GHC is on the far side of that gulf in my calendar.

I have crash space and can car pool at least 2 people that weekend. I live like 25 minutes from the event.

I think the setup crew is part of the problem and DM's and NPCs.

I posted with a number of local groups to try to drum up more volunteers.

The set up and tear down would be challenging, but it would reduce the number of coaches, DMs and NPCs needed.

except the dms would have to know 2-3 rooms

Not necessarily; if the volunteers can be flexible (ie. DM a room and some other position). So a full time volunteer would spend 4 out of 6 shifts DMing their room plus the last 2 shifts as something else (coach, admin, xp desk, etc) or 2 part time volunteers can split those shifts.

...although, i dont know how difficult that would be for volunteers to jump to a different job.

If managable, a nice thing about this plan is that it runs the three dungeons with the same volunteer-hours of 2 dungeons. And since the smaller cons often dont sell out, you will likely sell more tickets when players want to run the third dungeon (instead of only 2 dungeons).
this is not a signature.

I hear the setup is more the issue now not necessary the volunteers to run the dungeons, they are offering free badges just for 6 hours of setup which is how much they need bodies for setup. I am actually taking two days off of work to do setup.
