TOPIC: Ranger helms.

Is it just me? Or is there a specific reason that Rangers have so little choices of helms?

It’s the exception that proves the rule I think.

Bards, Druids, Monks, Rangers, Rogues and wizards don’t get helms as a general rule with a tiny number of exceptions (3 or so?) mostly that are at least a decade old.

The concept makes sense for all those classes except rangers. I've been a D&D player since it was "Chainmail" before the first edition hardcover books came out and no game system I've ever seen prevented rangers from using almost every helm that was available to fighters except for a few specific dedicated artifacts. It makes no sense to not have helms available to rangers in our game system here. I ask that everyone lobby Jeff for adding an a full set of helms that are class specific to rangers. By full set I mean every level from common to ultra rare to relic to legendary.

Already have 50 options

Most are Hats of low value., or are so old as to be really hard to find with old time collectors. I'm talking about a real AC boosting Helm like the redoubts.

If nothing else, might be time to reprint one of the 3 UR ranger helms or create a new one. Or a rare helm appropriate for some combo of Barbarian-Bard-Druid-Ranger-Rogue

Why reprint? Just go to Trent tokens. They are dirt cheap.

I just don't see Rangers being a "helm" class. Fighters - Yes. Paladins - Yes. Clerics - Yes (battle Clerics). Barbarians - Kinda. Rangers - Nope, doesn't seey right. Hoods - Absolutely. I can see Rangers and Rogues with Hoods. Or Hats. But not Helmets. But that's just my view of fantasy from growing up. Trying to think of any famous Ranger that wore a Helmet and can't think of any.
