TOPIC: Joe Manganiello to Head a Live-Action Dragonlance Adaptation

He has hinted at this for the last couple years, even tweeting a photo of a script he was working on for Dragons of Autumn Twilight.

Today on the live streaming of D&D Direct, Jpe Manganiello offered a brief update on the documentary he's filming for Wizards of the Coast to celebrate Dungeons & Dragons' 50th Anniversary. Discussing how the game had formed his love of stories. To which he followed up discussing that it led to him working with Wizards of the Coast on a live-action television adaptation of the Dragonlance novels.

If this is true, and comes to fruition, this would mark the 3rd Live Action TV series in the works from WotC.

This makes me happy on many, many levels!

The Forgotten Realms series is in development, and now this Dragonlance series. I don't think I've heard of a third series.

Too bad there won't be a Greyhawk series. It is by far the best setting!!!
