TOPIC: Grunnel's Holiday Special - It’s a GO-GO-GO!!!

I just saw this on the events page:
“There will be NO VTD events in December...unless we do Grunnel's Holiday Special that John has been pushing.”
I think this would be a super cool event to participate in. But it takes more than one person or player to make this happen. I hear the cave in December is magical!!! Let’s make this happen.

As much as I want to see our TD crew get some well-deserved time off, I'm also super eager to see what this goblin holiday event would be!

I love charity events, too - can we tie this to Extra Life or something? (assuming it gets green-lit, I mean)

I have been eagerly watching the Star Wars Holiday Special again and again,* in anticipation of the rumored event for December, which may feature Grunnel, in a Holiday Special. I hope Grunnel would have to wear a weird maroon robe, like Chewbacca, as we all celebrate the Goblin version of Life Day.**

YES we need this!!! Grunnel-themed adventures are the awesomest adventures

I wonder if we asked grunnel to do this as a "favor" if it would work? Come on Grunnel, do me a solid and host a holiday party!

Unfortunately, a Holiday Special is a big ask and is beyond the limits of small favors/solids.

Also:

There are only Small favor Scrolls from Grunnel, and they do not stack. Anything bigger than a small favor would be a "Solid" and for that to happen you would need to be a member of the Goblin Club. Sorry.

Induction into the Goblin Club requires a lot of things to happen and is by invitation only.

The final step is voting by the Council of Three Grunnels. (it must be unanimous for approval)

If/when someone is selected to become a member of the Goblin Club, they have the option to request a "SOLID". "Solids" are favors that are bigger than normal small favors and may require a lot more work or effort by the Goblin team.

But be warned, you have to return a solid when a Grunnel asks. Solids should always be reciprocated, or the very fabric of our universe will begin to unravel at the seams.

+1 Would buy Grunnel Holiday Special. Maybe we could get an Goblin hireling as a reward?

We’d definitely do a Grunnel holiday special. Might even get a third player from our family, since the kids are big fans of Grunnel…

My kids fought over who got to put the grunnel ornaments on the tree.
