I would be happier with 3 VTD runs with an A and a B of each month on month. That way you can miss one weekend and not be out of luck, and it would put a little bit of a cap on the rapid rate of EXP gain. They could also tweak an alternate path or something like we saw in the earlier VTD runs on the B run so you can happily run them for A and B.

Agree here A, B, C might be a little much but A and B seems reasonable. Multiple members of our party have had to miss or will miss Barb Beard adventures due to other life stuff. They are always bummed to miss a one. Even if the B month only had 75% as many runs or something I think it would do quite well.

This.

I'm pretty sure there was a Jeff post or e-mail at some point that more or less laid out the plans. Pretty sure I remember them saying that VTD was being paused while in-person events are being finalized and run. I forget if they gave a specific idea for what month VTD might continue.

I think the same e-mail indicated there probably wouldn't be a continuation of multiple months of the same storyline.

I could be hallucinating it all of course. This glowy drink the gnome gave me is kind of weird. Is that a mushroom at the bottom. hmm

I think this would be just right. VTD in the off- months to keep us all engaged with TD, but not too much.

I enjoyed and appreciated A and B, and the alternate rooms kept me coming back.

VTD Holiday Special!

I love the idea of a holiday special.

Knect Ruprecht - The german folklore of one of Santa’s “helpers.” He leaves coal for good boys and girls and beats bad little boys and girls within an inch of their lives.

Perhaps it is a mission to recover a child kidnapped by Ruprecht - we’re hired by a wealthy noble. Perhaps have two paths - one where we agree with Ruprecht that the punishment is deserved for the evil townsfolk :)

I have hopes for virtual adventures to continue. With my wife’s health the way it is, I don’t know that going to in person conventions will ever happen for me again.
Tenth level achieved! Now for the long journey to 11th level!

Maybe an epic True Dungeon Christmas adventure to save Santa Claus! :)

I agree as well and I believe I mentioned this in a previous post as well.

It would be nice to have the VTD option for times where events such as Cons/Pax are closed down cutting some of us off from attendance. For me it was Pax South closing in my hometown. On top of that while I had wanted to go to Gen Con I had to choose now between Gen Con or Skull Con. So, of course I am choosing Skull Con. Having the VTD option so we don't miss out on the new dungeons would be great.

Again, not saying it has to be done every year, though it would be nice in hectic times like this.

Of course I wouldn't mind the VTD for the new dungeons every year though I can imagine that's a bit harder to get volunteers for versus at a Con/Pax.

I have really enjoyed the VTD but I think the phrenetic pace of this spring with a new adventure every month (really cool and appreciated) has to take its toll on TPTB. Maybe do one in winter, one early spring then rely on cons.
