TOPIC: What if someone misses a run?

What happens if someone has a find-out-at-the-last-minute true emergency and misses a run for which they have paid? Does their character become a non-acting ghost, and if so and the party Survives does the player get the XP and Treasure? I assume that one person cannot run the other person's character as well as his own -- correct or not?

I would use the "contact us" link in the td.events website to ask your question if you did not have a crew you normally play with. I have found the TD team to be very responsive and easy to work with for ticket concerns.

If you run with a group of friends, check with them first. It is possible one of them was willing to ghost your character but they would have had to show treasure tokens for both themselves and you at the epilogue.

All I can give is my experience, when I overslept. It was a pre-formed and the group had more than enough treasure tokens to cover me and I got everything except for the survivor pin. I sent a panicked email to Lori when I work up and she told me that it had already been handled
