TOPIC: A long month

A long month 2 years 4 months ago #1

Hello to all my wonderful friends at TD. It has been a month to remember or forget might be better. I had to go in for surgery to implant a catheter for peritoneal dialysis and had some complications. After a very difficult time in the hospital for 2 weeks, several blood transfusions, CT scans, emergency hemo dialysis and recovery at home, I am beginning to feel better. I think the healing potions, and clerical prayers are beginning to take effect. Every day I am getting stronger and used to the peritoneal dialysis every night.

In the hospital I spent a lot of time thinking about family and relationships. I treasure my natural blood relationships, but I also thought about the friendships at TD. Thank you for being part of the light that got me through some of the darkest moments of my life.

Best wishes to all of you.

Thanks for the update, stuff like that can really take the wind out of your sales but it's great to hear you're recovering. Hang in there, well all ve pulling for you.

Wishing you a strong recovery. I firmly believe everyone has "another run in them" at all times. You just got to want it bad enough. Would be great to hear you in the dungeon one day.

I think of you often. sometimes I relate a story about one of your exploits and explain how some of your kind words of advice helped so many folks to enjoy TD even more. not only have you helped me so much in TD, you have been an inspiration to many of us with your enthusiasm. glad you are doing better and I will continue to pray for you and family.

Thank you for sharing an update. I hope everything goes very smoothly from now on. I hope that sometime we can see you on Virtual TD. Take care, and let us know if the TD Gang can be of any help.

Widseth, I think of you and your family often. Sorry to hear you’ve had health issues recently but very thankful that you are improving. Take care of yourself and do what Mrs. W says!

Hope to see you in 2022.
