TOPIC: (FULL) V2a NM Sat 10/10 1:12 PM CST - Rainbow Run

Alright I was able to get the earliest run I could Saturday 10/10 at 1:12 pm CST. PM for payment details


In honor of the various unique challenges (Turkey leg, 7 token, Cabal, Bloody,..etc) that we can oppose on ourselves I came up with an variance that I think could be fun.

The concept of a Rainbow Run is that a player cannot use more than one token of each color, rarity except for a wildcard ONYX (TE's are exempt) and see if we can tackle a HC/NM run. Now I feel going after token color or type could create some unique parings

Legendary (Orange Token)
Eldritch (Dark Green Token)
5pt Relic (Dark Blue Token)
3pt transmute (Light Blue Token)
UR (Purple)
Rare (Red)
Uncommon (Green)
Common (black)


For those of you that do Fantasy sports we have our flex positions

FLEX

*** Onyx (Black Token) as a different color token could allow for a duplicate rarity of UR/R/U/C***
*** Platinum (Silver Token) that can allow for a duplicate rarity of R/U/C***
*** Woodies (Wooden Token) allows for any duplicate rarity ***

But are you proposing that the adventurers only equip ~8 tokens (not counting TEs)?

I would be interested in trying this. I guess we could equip at least 1 tooth (light green) .

By my initial count if I'm right it would be 10 not counting TE's.

First, if you do this after people have seen it, you'll have no trouble on HC, probably on NM.

Second, it sounds fun to me, and I'd be down to try it.

There is going to be some interesting choices and limiting some level bump options. Low hp, low +hit, low saves. I don’t know if we would of made it out of R1 in V1.

I likely won’t be doing the run, so take my vote with a grain of salt, but I vote yay!

It’s also the best reason I’ve thought of to want platinum backs outside of collection.
