TOPIC: Pax West?

I kind of hate to ask, but do we know anything about the status of Pax West?

I don't know but with what's going on in Seattle I think its a no go but hopefully I am wrong

Given that the TDvols site is not yet recruiting and its less than 3 months before the projected date, I'm not optimistic.

I fear you are correct.

The official website was last updated on the subject in late April, when they were "optimistic."

On the Enforcer forum, as of June 10th, the most official response available is "Still up in the air."

PAX commonly schedules pretty close to the date of its shows, particularly for its Enforcers, and as it's scheduled Sept 4-7, I would not anticipate a hard, final decision prior to August 1 unless it comes from venue/city/state.

If they have the venues (there are several at West), and can't get out of contracts/whatever such that they are motivated to hold the expo, I expect they would hold SOMETHING that week.

If that did happen, however, there would probably not be time to organize any True Dungeon presence, except maybe just a demo or something.

That said, as a betting man, I'm thinking no PAX West in September 2020.

PAX Australia was officially cancelled earlier today.
I would expect the same to happen for West.
In my personal opinion I don't expect any conventions to happen this year.

That was my last hope for a con this year!
