Good idea. I wonder if SE Wisconsin people would be interested in that sort of event?

Origins is a maybe. Depends on how things are. But I won't know that till September maybe. But we shall see what 2020 holds for actual conventions for people.

Outside of gaming with friends--the two main things I do at GenCon are the vendor hall and True Dungeon. I could see doing True Dungeon and feeling relatively safe. The vendor/dealer hall--not so much.

With GenCon off the table--looking to see whether or not things have settled by Origins. I have a room booked, but we'll have to see how things go.

Then the only challenge will be the time difference......

Holding out hope to make it to the rescheduled Origins and GameHoleCon.

Also, planning to go to PhoenixCon. A small, new con that the guy behind RPEX is working on since he's jonesing for a convention. Phoenix rising from the ashes, not Phoenix, AZ.

I am hoping for Summercamp (adult fun). Other then that, Origins only if TD is there.

I am glad gencon wasn’t in my plans this year already, in that respect I am lucky.

I had never heard of Boardgame geek con - I'll have to look that up, it sounds interesting!

I had never heard of Boardgame geek con - I'll have to look that up, it sounds interesting!

Usually sales out quick, smallish con, I think with the new location it is about 6k people

5 day convention, game library, hot games room with new great games, board game flea market for about an hour at some point in the con normally Saturday but was Friday this year, bear trade, massive board game area, about 4 games with admission, I got galaxy trucker and bad maps free this past year. New location is the hotel at the base of reunion tower in case anyone ever wanted to go up in that thing


So ya, I’ll be there if it happens and I think it well.

A few of my friends here who run our local con went. They really enjoyed it, but Geekway to the west is also about the biggest con they've been to, so YMMV.
