TOPIC: Transmuting Tokens At Origins

What's the turnaround time to transmute tokens at Origins? I have tokens to transmute into trade goods, and then those should be enough to craft a few of the smaller recipes. How long does that take at the convention? I'd like to save on shipping tokens back and forth to True Dungeon twice (once for the trade goods, then once again for the recipes), but I also want to use those new tokens when I play again.

Thanks in advance to anyone that's used the at convention transmuting and has some insight.

My experience with the transmutes at Origins has been spectacular.

I think it depends of course, but you should be able to do your double turnaround relatively quickly (a few hours)

Also, many of those with larger transmutes will trade something for its pieces.

it really depends how many orders are in front of yours etc. We do try to be as quick as possible. I cant promise anything until you show up. I can then give a rough estimate based on whats in front. We do work hard in that room

Like Schwade said, it all depends. If 10 people just dropped off six large boxes each before you arrived, your exchange may take a while. But if our workload is light, we can do your exchange very quickly. There are too many variables to make an honest prediction.

If you need your tokens exchanged soonly, try to be at the transmuting room the first day we open. If you're overly concerned that you won't get your transmutes before your run(s), consider either mailing them in ahead of time or bringing them to Who's Yer Con .

Good to know, thanks for the info! I'll probably just wind up not booking any runs for the first day so I can focus on transmuting the first day. On the other hand, I also want to have it now, so I may just mail them in. We'll see what happens.
