TOPIC: What to do with a 2019 Treasure Chips token

I won't be making a convention before the 2019 season ends.
Does anybody know of a way for me to redeem my 'Treasure Chips' token?
Can I mail it in as part of a transmute order? If I do, is there some way I should label it and/or bag it?

If you will be at any convention in 2020 with 2019 adventures, then you can bring it there and redeem it for 2019 treasure.

You can also trade them with or sell them to other players.

I don't believe they can be redeemed by mail, but I could be wrong.

They can be redeemed by mail. Make a note when you place an order with the TD store for tokens/transmutes/etc. Send in your treasure token chips, they’ll send back your “pulls”.

Redemption in the 2020 season is questionable at best, I do not recommend keeping any you plan to redeem past December.

I would agree with Anthony on this. Although TD has been liberal in the past, and the way the dungeons have been played made redemption of last years possible at the early cons of the season, it doesn't mean that will always happen that way.
It probably will but I'd hate to tell someone that and then not they not be able to transmute them. Safer to mail them with an order.

My two cents

It is likely that it could be redeemed at PAX South since that one has a confirmed 2019 adventure and the 2020 tokens shouldn't be available yet. Beyond that, Origins is absolutely a crap shoot. The past couple years they have had a repeat of at least 1 of the prior years' adventures but it isn't guaranteed (nor is it guaranteed that they would have 2019 treasure pulls even if they did).

TD will allow for redemption by mail for odd exception cases (like this where it is the end of the season and you discovered extra treasure pulls).

Thank you everybody. Sounds like adding them to a transmute order is my best bet.

I will chime in on what everyone else said because this came up recently. You should mail it in OR find a friend that is going to a Con that can pull for you.

Druegar made it a point (as I recall) to not believe that that they would be redeemable after Pax South. He didn't say they wouldn't be but something like it would not be a good bet to attempt to use them at Origins....something like that I will see if I can find the thread and update this post.

EDIT:I was remembering incorrectly. It was Gen Con that he pointed out for last years tokens.

At the rate they keep adding cons I think origins may be all new stories to test before gen con.

From what I remember:

- You can mail them in.

- They are redeemable at conventions up until the new season begins. Which is Origins in 2020. So I think PAX South will be the last convention they can be turned in. Unless of course TD does another convention between then and Origins.
