TOPIC: Treasure pull question

So I have 40+ pulls left from origins and I have my run Saturday so I will have over 50 chips I hear a lot about 50 treasure bags is it worth it for me to grab one of those and where do I go to get them? Sry for the newbie like question.

To ask a similar question, are 50 bags available? They ran out fast at Origins and only had 20 bags most other con. Would line to know to save my pulls.

Yesterday the epilogue room had both 20s and 50s available. (of course I have no information about how long supplies will last)

They had 50 pull bags at the treasure station at the end of the run when I was there Thursday - I just had to ask.

They also had 20 pull bags.

I got a Wish Ring and a UR (and a few other odds and ends) across four 50s and two 20s, so that was nice!

It’s a fair question, often asked by vets and newbies alike.

We’ve been assured the loot all comes from the same place. They mix them altogether in a cement mixer contraption and pull some out into various sizes of bags, and dump a bunch into buckets for the treasure generators.

We do almost all bags because we’re lazy, and using that wand thing to pull fifty chips one at a time is boring will take you many tedious minutes. But some people love that part. I hate getting stuck behind someone doing that, so I don’t want to be that guy.

Time-savings: definitely worth it.
Odds of good stuff: it’s exactly the same either way, from a probability perspective, unless you have outside information. If someone told you “I know all (or none) of the orange tokens are in bags” that will affect your choice. But nobody will ever tell you things like that, because the people mixing the loot are people of integrity, so take the economics out of it.

Last year my wife pulled an Aron’s from a 50-bag, and a friend pulled a Thor’s from a box.
