Can you get the benefits of Medallion of Mystic Mouth while Polymorphed?

I assume not because the shirt just says you can cast spells, but would really prefer to be a polymorph wiz if it didn't seriously affect my benefit to the group.

TDB says no to miscellaneous magic items, so I believe you are correct in that it rules out MoMM.

Unfortunately, this doesnt work.
It theoretically could have worked for druid back before the shirt of fey if you used the druids wild vestments which said 'no polymorph restrictions', but with the updated shirt, they 'clarified' that that doesnt let you use magic items.

Currently, druid can get away with this, but it is expensive: you have to wear the MoMM AND the druid necklace (relic or legendary)...so, it costs a wish, an artifact, or maybe some golden ticket bonus ability to wear 2 neck slot items.

It really is too bad, because i like to see diverse build options, and making polymorph wizard be an option would be great.
