These are the variable token effects for the 2019-2020 season:

Eldritch Runestone
Fire damage inflicted upon the user is reduced by 5 points per attack

Amulet of Wonder
You may equip one additional Head slot item

UR Special
Character gains the “Angelic” sub-type with the following benefits:
  • +4 to Dexterity (+2 To Hit with ranged attacks, +2 to AC, and +2 to Reflex saving throws)
  • Heal Other: Once per game, you may heal 4 HP on another character (no bonuses can be applied to this heal; you may not target yourself)
  • Immune to possession

One head slot seems a curious choice. Two head slots I might have understood for the Cerberusian attraction. One head and something else (like neck) would have felt like a benefit of some sort.

Amulet of Wonder is quite underwhelming unfortunately. I'm sure there are some niche builds that would take advantage of this, but since the Neck slot is generally considered stronger than the Head slot I doubt many will take advantage of this.

I had the same feeling. Maybe a wizard wants both crown of Expertise and crown of elemental mastery?
And isnt interested in MoMM?

So,. the niche is a wizard who doesn't want to use MoMM, doesnt own a charm necklace, but has CoE and CoEM.
