Here is the link I'm pretty sure Jeff meant to post:

I don't want to sound like a negative nelly... but $78 to play an adventure at Gen Con seems pretty steep.

:(

Definitely removes several folks in my normal group who have been on the fence about playing TD

I was thinking the same thing.

New players? If so, it sounds like True Dungeon: First Quest was made for them. It's a lower price and a good introduction to the game.

Thanks for the awesome memories since 2004. Looks like I will retiring at 8th level. Wish you the best, Jeff. Truly an awesome event but I will not be paying $78 for a two hour event, let alone $78 each for three. But I have no doubt you will still sell out the 6,000 tickets. Keep up the great work.

I hope you will rethink. Team Synergy will miss you. I know I'll be cutting back from 4 runs to 3. The dollars work out the same.

Were 2017 treasure chips supposed to be redeemable at Origins?

My understanding was that Origins was (previously) the end of the 2017 season, and hence the last opportunity to redeem the 2017 chips.

If that's correct, will 2018 chips be redeemable at this year's Origins?

Jeff indicated in the Lords and Ladies section that Moongate and Dancing would give 2017 treasure tokens and Astral would give 2018. And that there would be appropriate boxes for each type. So your 2017s should be good at Origins.

Although the official announcement did not include that, so I'd not take it as final yet.

As Harlax mentioned, this was discussed in Lords & Ladies, and at that time it was said that 2017 and 2018 treasure chips would be accepted at Origins, each with different treasure boxes. I'd wait until official word comes though until taking that as gospel.

We will have 2017 treasure generators and 2018 TGs at Origins. You can use Treasure Chips at the appropriate chest.
