TOPIC: Concerned About My Tickets

Concerned About My Tickets 6 years 9 months ago #1

I'm concerned I may get screwed on my TD event at Origins. Like a lot of folks I had issues with registration for me and my group; I wound up exchanging emails with Origins to get the 10 tickets for our event.

My credit card was charged, and I got the confirmation email... but while registering for other events I found TD was not showing up on my itinerary. I sent an email to the registration mailbox asking if there was a problem, but a couple of weeks passed with no reply. So I sent another email, and another week has passed without reply. Now I am getting anxious (and a little pissed).

Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

If what's most of us are having issues with please look under 'fees and payments' when logged into your registration. TD events don't currently show on Itinerary for Origins (bs i agree).

Originsgamefair.com
-Access your registration
-Log in
-4th tab over under Origins game fair is 'fees & payments
-click that and scroll down to bottom, you should see 3 column list: Location, Item and Cost
-below that is what TD events (and others) you're in.

Trust me had more than what i wanted of going back and forth with Gama.

Much smoother than GenCon for me though. Easier registration and better customer service.

You should have received an email with a barcode to pick up your tickets on site at Origins.

Overall, I was good with the process. I was double-charged on a couple of TD tickets, but when i emailed them they responded within an hour or two and corrected the situation immediately. I can see my tickets in my itinerary, but the odd thing is that two of my runs say 0 tickets, but a charge of $42. They told me my itinerary is good, so I expect to get a ticket for every run I paid for. I guess I'll see next week. It's just odd.

I also had the same concern initially several weeks ago...But the fact that they show up as paid for under "Fees and Payments" gave me some piece of mind.
Regarding the email and barcode...Isn't that for the Origins badge only? It didn't mention tickets anywhere that I saw...

OK, I feel better knowing it's the same thing others are seeing. I'm not terribly happy with the lack of response form Origins though.

I am fine today. But having to log in multiple days to get tickets, lack of communication about was going on, and the HEAVY amount of errors make me rather deal with GC's ticketing system.

Amen, i'm looking forward to Origins but it's been a more than slightly frustrating lead up to it.

Look at the Origins website.

Essentially, if you are pre- registered you scan or type barcode and then pick up materials. This is seperate than the line for those who have not pre-registered.

Anyone received this email yet?

I did. However people at BGG were saying they are very staggered. So they might not all have gone out yet.
