TOPIC: Mule Wrangling at Origins

Mule Wrangling at Origins 6 years 10 months ago #1

While I am not a big fan of ghosting or muling (?), I am a local to Columbus and I have a few cheap a$$ friends. I am volunteering full-time at Origins, so I can't even invite my friends on a single run (plus I only have one CoA). So if you are looking for newbies to go on a run with you, I might be able to find a few willing souls. They would be happy with the normal 3 pulls and completion tokens.if they didn't have to pay for the run.

If this is not an acceptable thread, please delete it and accept my apologies.

I have two runs purchase for new players. I will have a sign up sheet with me and would prefer people who have never played TD before. If your friends qualify send me a PM.

Run times are Into the Deeperdark Friday 6:24 PM, and Behold Her Majesty on Saturday at 5:01 PM.1

I may resemble that remark, or more the fact that i bought extra tickets and forgot about the limited refund policy at Origins.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

There might be a few of us standing around doing nothing depending on the times that you and Ed could convince to be mules....I would guess.

Ouch hope you can find some warm bodies that want to play... bring new people in... just a taste of TD... then next one is on you...

Basically what i did, i got 9 tickets (missed on the 10th) to a slot with the prime purpose of introducing friends who don't do Gencon to TD. Think i'm at 5 new players so far plus 2 others (my brother who is newish and myself who is whatever descriptive you care to use...). See how it goes i've got 2 weeks to find the bodies. I don't own extra treasure enhancers (just my own nugget/CoA) so the goal is to see people have a good time, not me to farm treasure.

Having the TE's though can help keep your cost low when you are sponsoring runs for friends, family, coworkers and random new people.

my plan is to drive up REALLY early on thursday (are there runs on thursday?) and do what i can with TD. if i can figure out a hotel thing (or just a place to shower) reasonably close i might stay for friday and do runs

i'll be bringing 10 CoA and be looking to do some farming. i'll see what i can come up with.
