TOPIC: True Horde at Gen Con

We MAY run True Horde at Gen Con -- due to the huge demand we saw today with tickets sales at TDC. However, the whole event might be underwhelming once it is run OR we might not be able to make it work logistically.

I hope that's a possibility because those last 17 spots went fast. I sure would like to get into that event in the near future.

It sounds cool, Jeff. Thanks for taking the rapid sell-out into consideration. I'm bummed I missed out at TDC but I'm always looking for more TD options at Gen Con.

Hoping as 1 reason that makes the travel to these smaller cons worth it is to do stuff under less stress/crunch of gencon. Like doing more 'variant' runs at stuff like GHC and TDC. While i hope true horde turns out well, i'm also hoping it doesn't end up like grind where limited tickets become a regular pain.

I hope this is the beginning of opening other options at the conventions besides GenCon.

I for one would like to see the offering of the extra room from the Golden Ticket run at GenCon at GHC and TDC in the future. One extra room should be a much smaller task from a logistics perspective.

Jeff, it sounds great if you could get it to work at GENCON logistically. Or you could try to keep it at the smaller Conventions, and expand it there with more runs to have a unique and popular offering to draw people to those locations.
