Jeff I know the gameholecon has a ticket limits for certain events. For Some events you only ever can by 2 of them because they are special events and they limit the number so VIP badge holders can't buy them all. I would reach out to them and ask them to make a new category of events for true dungeon and see if they can put a limit on it for you.

I think we have a few years before TD hits the point of needing that based on the general availability of tickets this year

I am a bit concerned about the no ghosts rule. If you buy out a run of 10, intending to run Nightmare, and for whatever reason 1 person can't attend, the ticket needs to be returned, and then the replacement player can force the group back to Normal difficulty per the rules. Perhaps a better policy would be "no ghosting for treasure" (to remove the financial incentive) rather than "no ghosts period".

The other rules sound good to me.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

I think a better option, considering the limited nature of tickets for this event may simply be that if a ticket is resold, the new player needs to abide by the difficulty level requested by the party.

Good idea. I will change it to "no treasure for ghosts".

That's been a thing for years. If you own the ticket, you can choose to whom you sell it. If you only want to sell it to a person willing to run NM, that's within your rights.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

Much as last minute changes are frustrating glad you're taking a proactive approach Jeff. I suspect i'm not the only one on the fence waiting now for tickets. Basically plan on waiting till Sat/Sun to get badge as if there is not enough tickets (want to run a few times) for workable times then it's not worth it to me.

Watching and waiting from the cheap seats.

Yeah, this was just in reference to the mandate that all tickets must go to humans, no ghosting allowed and extra passed had to be returned. Allowing ghosts with no loot also resolves the option. Selling to someone else who will run with the same rules is more likely if you aren't forced to return the pass

Sorry if it wasn't clear in my initial post, but I was supporting your position--not diminishing it.

I think the intent behind this is good, which is truly all that matters.

I like Jeff's responsiveness during this time. I'm truly glad he listens, which is all we can ask for.

TDC is going to be a blast! I'm looking forward to getting to run with some of you, hopefully a lot of you!
