TOPIC: TDA17118240 Fri 4:26 Dancing Combat LFM

I bought all 10 tickets for the Dancing among Stones Friday 4:26 PM TDA17118240.

I want to do a themed run, but I haven't decided on which one.

Currently I am thinking of doing a Hardwood run -- you can only equip woodies except for TE's and any token which can award treasure (TE's, Libram,...). Of course it would be a Hardcore run. If one of the woodie collectors "chipped"-in, maybe we could make it a Nightmare run?

Has anyone tried a woodie in the new sliders?

OK, this will be a regular run. So far it is 4 brand new players and myself.

Just wanted to clarify so I indexed this thread properly. Are you looking to fill all nine other spots on this run, or are some already claimed?

Yes, there are 9 spots to fill.

I wanted to put Dancing Combat in the title, but I have already used all but 1 remaining character allowed. I felt it was more important to distinguish this as a themed run than to specify the details in the title.

I think it will be one of the most challenging runs for veterans (if it happens). Only few have the woodies to do well in the modern game and I think everyone will be 4th level.

Seeing no interest for the hardwood run, is there any other theme runs which people would be willing to try in this slot?

I cannot speak for anyone else but I know I decided not to do any themed runs at Gen Con this year because of the price increase. I have purchased my usual 40 and still for some reason bought 9 other semi-random tickets for runs. If it gets closer to Gen Con though and you still don't have this filled, I probably could be talked into purchasing 2 more tickets (or 4 if this because a double down).

This will be my wife and I's first gencon and we would very much like to try the True Dungeon. We are complete newbs to the system, but play RPGs for what it's worth.
