TOPIC: Will pay in cash, gold, blood, etc. for 2 Fri tix

After months of resignation to being unable to attend GenCon, I actually managed to save enough money, take a couple exams early, and trade work shifts so that I can fly up for a one day visit on Friday to celebrate my birthday!
Of course the last minute-ness of it all means I missed out on most tickets, but Im excited nevertheless. Its my first time, so I plan to mostly wander with a couple generics in my pocket.
And then... I read on article on True Dungeon... WOW. Ive never wanted to participate in anything more. And this years experience is shaped by Rothfuss?!
I realize Im a total noob and this is a long long shot, but if theres anyone out there with a set of tickets (2 or even 3) for any TD event on Friday that they'd be willing to part with...hell, Ill sell you my firstborn.

I hope you're able to find the tickets you're looking for. If you don't, you might try getting generic tickets and waiting in the standby line at True Dungeon. People have had a lot of success joining runs that way, especially if you're flexible on the classes and difficulty levels you play.

Thank you so much for the tip, I had no idea that was a possibility so I am immensely heartened! I'll make sure to do my research so Im up for any available classes and levels.

If you don't have any luck here try looking on the gencon site wednesday afternoon when customer service opens. There is usually a number of tickets returned as people's plans have changed.
