I'm guessing the puzzle will be to place the wooden signposts on the map correctly.

That looks like it could be a pretty good guess. the bases of the 'signposts' do look like they might be hexagons.

Might be a draccus but shouldn't be a dragon. ;)

If it is a draccus, I hope we don't have to fight it because unless it is addicted to denner it shouldn't be a threat.

If it was a draccus I don't think it would work that way. Giving it denner could make it aggressive. Not really certain how much denner it takes for it to really want it though. So maybe one potion would work as a bribe, but also could make it want all your denner...lol.
