TOPIC: 2017 Gamehole Con Confirmed

Can't wait! Parking was a breeze. Stayed at the Marriott a few miles away and it was fantastic.

Very early to reserve hotel rooms I though.

The excitement of this announcement is giving me happy gaming gas!

(I will also be back minus the gas. I loved GHC TD, great experience!)

Parking isn't the problem. If you stay at any hotel other than the Sheraton down the street they aren't really walkable. I Uber'ed a couple of times and it wasn't bad.

I assume the Clarion is also walking distance?

Clarion is connected to the event center. A short walk and the closed located hotel. Sheraton is an easy walk also as is one other hotel next to the Sheraton. Plenty of parking too.

Stayed at the Sheraton and it was walkable enough. Though i ended up driving due to fact going over to McDonald's/fastfood for breakfast (not walkable) and just parking at convention center lot.

So parking wise we didn't even use the parking lot next to the colosseum for the most part plus most of you may not have noticed there is an entire back parking lot that I think the only time I ever had to use was 2 years ago when something else was going on at the same time.

Good news. I attended this last year. TD was good, kinda rough in execution but still fun. More reminiscent of the early years. lol But hey, it's new there and to be expected.

Will say I and my friends truly enjoyed Gamehole Con. The ample free parking, major plus. Stayed at a friends house, so a plus. Lots of near by dining, plus. And the over-all convention is not insanely packed. Major plus.

Only real complaint I noted is those hosting games other then TD had massively limited seats. Almost all sold out on first day. Would like to see them a address that more, but that's not TD's fault.

For those in the area,, it's worth going. And our group is looking forward to attending again next year.

It is kinda crazy how buzy saturday is, they have added some thursday evening gaming as well to help strech out for a full 3 days since Sunday is really a 2/3 day. Alex Kammer is rumored to be in attendance so with the TD tie in to his world that is going to be kinda cool. I know a ton of our local gms who run 30 hours of slots during the event and that is just crazy. The good thing this is ton of pick up and board games that don't have slots but there isn't a ton of pick up games the day you are there almost everything is sold out so you need to plan in advance.
