Clearly AoE attacks bypass the Cloak - fireball, chain lightning, breath weapons, poison gas, etc.

But something like magic missile which is single target as well?

Hmmm. the real question is is a spell a ranged attack. We do seem to be going in that direction - the Sniper Specs give +3 to ranged attacks, and they have been ruled to apply to sliding spells.

I would rule a Cloak of Blending would not affect AoE spells, and I consider Silence an AoE spell (the Beholder's Silence attack was a targeted ray attack). I would also rule that targeted spells like ray attacks or magic missile would be affected by the Cloak.

Before any further adventures (like GHC) I will get clarification from TPTB.

This was the exact reason I felt every token/spell should be classified on an attack type. I made a classification table and sent it to TPTB. Unfortunately, it has not been implemented yet (that I am aware of).

Perhaps the most interesting question on this arose in the Grind's "Party member as Monster" special challenge. In the Epic Grind (won by the Late Sherrifus' Wish Ring) the Evil Elf Wizard Trinbaty D'lay evaded 84 points of damage by using the cloak per Raven Kirk and Eric. So unless players have some way to see the invisible they cannot let "let fly"!

Could someone tell me what a "Web site URL" is. Is it a special form of scroll?

Well, there is a reason for the existence of Dust of Appearance, Potion of See Invisibility, Scroll Faerie Fire, and Lenses of Clear Sight....

Would you send a copy of your table to me?

I do have the source I sent to TPTB - PM me your email and I can send you a copy. I was hoping that after it was edited and blessed it would appear in the TokenDB.
