My beginner's run (me + 9 newbies) was pretty much that. I don't believe we passed a single save. I (rogue) just had to keep counting my gold the whole time.

Still had fun while we got completely owned. :) Not a big deal, it's the final room anyway.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

I am kind of wondering what effect a mirror would have had on the Beholder.

Lack of consistency?

When the module is released, let's see if Mind Blank or other remedies & prophylactics were mentioned.

When the anti magic field hit him or the others he should have been able to slide right? Because it would have countered the magic on him. At least that is what happened most of the times I went through. Not great but still able to slide every third round.

I only tried this once, but when the group save failed I asked the DM if I could reroll due to having the Cat Figurine. He said yes, but just for me. I made my individual save. Was that the correct ruling? I'm hoping so, but honestly didn't even try it the next time it came up.

There is no official TD policy on how to handle this. It is possible that specific rooms (like the Beholder room) had guidelines based on the write-up.

In True Grind, I had a single player roll for the group because of the sheer number of Horror Checks (a.k.a. Fear saves). In cases of a Questor's Charm of Cat Figurine, I did exactly what you mentioned - offered that individual the chance to reroll but it wouldn't be for the whole party (unless they all had a reroll token to use). Since I wrote the True Grind module, that was done the way it was designed. However, True Grind is not the same as the main dungeon so I can't speak for whatever happened in the Beholder room.

I lost initiative for my Nightmare party 3 times and failed the Beholder saving throw another 2 or 3 times. Kept rolling 1-5's. Since I am sympathetic towards the monsters, I didn't mind - but my party members were mad at me! B)

Did you at least warn the 3rd party how terrible your last two rolls were?

Nope!

My party members begged that I not roll the saving throws again. I insisted however!

I swear you have some sort of dice voodoo. In grind as DM you roll too high, in dungeons apparently you roll too low. Just as you want.

We were on Nightmare as well, so most likely lack of consistency.

no
On rounds 4, 7, etc. the cycle would repeat.

*grumble*

I had a PUG run where the DM told us (with a few minutes left in the room) that since we didn't kill it on round three we 'lost' the fight.

I honestly had no frame of reference, because on the prior runs - we had generally killed it by round three.
