For those who had their badges mailed to them, are this year's badges of the same material they were last year--a stiff plastic as opposed to a paper badge that must be kept in a plastic slip-cover?
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

Stiff plastic, with a pre-punched out oval is there that you can put a clasp through.
