Only reason I can see is to give people choices at first for the 10points. I would hope there might be some rare or other tokens with Psychic Points.

That's what I thought as well. Give folks 2 options starting with the first tooth. Also leaves design space for a smaller item that allows the 4 pt of healing perhaps.

Very cool! I'm sure more clarifications will be worked out - for example, I assume the Plane Sight power (ignore 50% chance to miss incorporeal monster) count for an entire combat, not just one attack.

But then, one should never assume...

I am most happy these have been released. I would have been disappointed had I got 10 ISAO but only had 2 teeth to power them. Now it just will make me think more about what tokens to buy and when....lol.

Jeff, do you think there will be additional tokens giving psychic powers after the 7 years, or will it be like Eldritch (as announced so far) and once those announced tokens are gone you move to something else? Maybe you should do something like the Eldritch tokens, and have four UR's that grant psychic powers that can be transmuted into a "Psychic Relic" or something. :)

There could always be other tokens that both grant points and powers. Probably not enough to get up to 80 buy still enough to do something with.

Having 2 options with just the first tooth is nice. I don't see how it really leaves any design space for lesser PP items. Currently you don't need any PP to use Cell Repair. A token that grants less than 10 PP gains you nothing. You could release multiples to get you up to 10, but having 2 or 3 tokens that are completely useless unless you have the other 1 or 2 in the set in addition to a Psionics granting token doesn't seem like particularly good design.

It would give a nice incentive to pick up all the Psychic UR Tokens. Otherwise you only need to get one of them to grant Psychic Ability. :)

Well - presumably they could all have secondary effects - like the first one that also grants immunity to Psychic blast.

If you are not spending 1k (to get the tooth) then having lesser tokens to get you above 10 makes perfect sense. Remember not everyone is spending thousands of dollars on tokens.
