TOPIC: Flik's 2024 Augmented Standard Auction - Closed - Tokens Shipped to Winners

Hey everyone, now that some of the auctions have closed, I'm going to do my one 8k auction per pre-order period. I want to state right off the bat that I will be keeping the four Rings of the 3rd Circle and two Mark of the Third Tenets. I've added appropriate augmented items to hopefully make up for that and the fact the auction goal is $8000. I might have to add especially more but I will see how it shakes out after the appropriate time.

Auction rules:

This is a super-condensed auction augmented by some tokens from my collection. As the auction progresses, If it looks like we are not meeting the goal, I may continue to add things. The goal here is to get this funded. Ideally, this results in very good deals on the things I have added, as well as the auction items.

In order for the auction to be successful, the grand total of all bids above the minimums must meet or exceed that $8,000. If the auction fails to meet the minimum by the end date, the auction will end with no winners. Bid high, bid often!

Bidding is eBay style:
◦ Bids are sent to me through Private Messages in these forums or "Flik" on the TD Discord.
◦ You must bid at least the current bid + the bid increment.
◦ Bid increment on items currently at less than $10 is $0.25.
◦ Bid increment on items currently at greater than or equal to $10 and less than $20 is $0.50.
◦ Bid increment on items currently at greater than or equal to $20 and less than $50 is $1.
◦ Bid increment on items currently at greater than or equal to $50 is $5.
* Also, bids must be in a multiple of the bid increment of your maximum bid. So if the bid is currently at $49, New bids of $50 or $55 are acceptable, but a bid of $51 is not.
◦ The winning bid amount is the lesser of the (2nd highest bid + the bid increment) and the highest bid.
◦ In the event that multiple bidders all bid the same highest amount, the earliest bid will be the high bidder.

This auction style rewards early bidding, as you win ties and people must raise the bid by at least the bid increment to take it from you. Since the price is set by the 2nd highest bidder, you may enter your top bid initially and never overpay.

Bidding ends on November 23rd, 2023 (a week before pre-orders end) at 9pm EST OR 9pm EST the day after funding has been achieved -- whichever occurs first. Yes, this is a LATE date, but that's because I assume the auction will get funded.

The goal is to get funded not worry about an end date (aside from board technical difficulties). If the end date needs to be changed because the auction has less interest I will make sure to provide notice. But there would be at least a week heads-up notice.

Any last-minute changes in high bidders will not extend the auction.

Payment is required through PayPal via Friends and Family. All winning bids will have 48 hours after close of the auction to provide payment. Any unpaid item(s) after allotted time will defer their winning bid and the next highest bidder will be offered the item at their maximum bid price of the item(s).

Shipping within the US on all winning bids is $5 for 1 to 10 tokens (First Class bubble mailer), $10.20 for 11 to 150 tokens (Priority, small flat rate box), $17.10 for over 150 tokens (Priority, medium flat rate box) to destinations in the US. International shipping is at the actual cost of shipping. Shipping will occur within 1 week of receiving the tokens from True Dungeon, though probably much sooner than that.

Posting an update so people know the order status. One person has yet to respond to PMs and I'm awaiting their Paypal payment. Two more people are sending a cashier's check and money order and they are already in the mail. When I receive all three of those payments I will place the order. I should have the two mail items in my hand before Wednesday next week.

Quick update, I got ahold of the last person and he paid (still need PYPs from him though lol) so I'm just waiting for the cashier's check and MO to come in the mail to place the order.

Another update! I got the money order in the mail today. So now I are waiting on a cashier's check to arrive to make the purchase. I have a confirmation # but unfortunately, even though it was sent Friday, it seems to be either lost or slow to get a couple states over. Once I have it in hand and deposit it in my bank then I will be making the order. Stay tuned! Sorry for the delay but this is almost a $2000 check so I really need to have it in hand before I place the order.

The saga continues...sigh.

Somehow priority shipping means over a week and then it's sitting an hour from my house, presumably lost. As I mentioned before this is for almost 25% of the entire auction's funding. I have talked with the sender and if nothing shows up by Monday he is going to cancel the cheque and send it two day shipping with UPS, so at the worst it's looking like I'll have it by 11/22 and can place the order that day. I know this really affects no one (except the Patron code winner :/ ) since it's a pre-order, but I wanted to give everyone the update.

I just want to get this taken care of ASAP and it's frustrating to have this happen.

So posting another update to keep everyone in the loop. The package, as you can see from the last post, is still lost. Sigh. So I've been working with the buyer to get a new check sent out. Apparently though, it is not inherently quick to try to void a cashier's check and issue a second one. His bank is taking more than 24 hours. But we've come to an agreement that if he cannot get the check sent to me by Friday he will PayPal me the nearly $2000 on Friday and I will be making the purchase then.

Thanks all, and sorry for this slight delay (even if it's the pre-order). I will make sure this will be ordered before the pre-order no matter what. If something happens Friday and I don't get the money I will be opening the items up to either the second bidders or for the same cost to the community to fund the auction before the deadline next week.
