TOPIC: 8K auction interest

All,

I am trying to gauge interest in an 8K auction.

I would think the best option here would be the choice with 34 PYPs rather than 32 and the Onyx C-R set or 16 PYPs and the 20 Onyx URs from 2018. Particularly given the fact that the 2017 tokens are going OOP soon.

I also think we have a good new idea.

Rather than trying to sell the random rares and uncommons and commons, what about selling a "Super Condensed" pack with

Would you be interested in such an auction?

Since this is the first one I would be running, I would probably copy the plans of those in the past and set an end time, with the last hours being email only rather than forum posts to avoid the spamming.
Pricing would be ebay style, where the winner pays the bid increment amount over 2nd place, and max bids are a thing.
Also, a timeframe of 10 to 14 days seems like the right amount.

I'm looking for interest and suggestions before I get this thing started, but it feels like a good idea to me.

I like the idea of the condensed trade items, I'd probably bid on a tooth, and about a dozen or so trade goods (mainly steel and hide).

I would bid on PYP, Teeth, and Rares (if not transmuted).

It would be interesting to see if you get more value out of supercondesed than not.

For 2018 there might be a few - like lenses of heimdal sight and belt of the berserker, that are more valuable in condensed.

Condensed is not available any longer unfortunately....

I have seen some people just reserve the items they want, and decrease the amount needed to fund the auction.

I would either do that, or set your max # now, and not change it.

I went the set max and not change rout. I should have set 2 aside at $100 value against the goal probably. That’s what I will do in the future, and I now recommend.

A good plan for yourself, though I suspect all of your PyPs will go for well over that.
