I don't mind last minute bidding but when they email or PM I have no idea I was outbid is my problem. I was watching the forums and I didn't see a bid so I thought I had won.

First of all, I just posted a new forum auction so we can try this again, hopefully with better rules and fewer forum crashes.

Regarding the last minute PM bid on the Orb, I'm going to switch it to James at $550. Henwy, I'm sorry. I'll refund part of your cash. I'm sure Henwy won't be happy about it but I thought about it and I think it is the best thing to do.

I have received about half of the payments so far. Remember the deadline is 10PM Eastern tomorrow (Wednesday) night, although I'd love to receive it sooner so it is less paperwork tomorrow night.

I'm fairly anti-sniping myself. I've done auction with the last hour of bids by PM to address this. I understand the concern, though, about someone not knowing if they were outbid if they were willing to bid more to get what they wanted.

I still need to catch up on PMs, but I'm missing PYP choices for most of the winners. I'll need those by tonight.

FYI I did receive all payments and PYP choices last night and I did place the order with Jeff. I expect to receive it on Monday, plus or minus a day or two.

At some point I will send out emails just double checking mailing addresses for those who I will be mailing to. At that point feel free to ask me to hold off if you think you might win something on the next auction and want to avoid paying shipping twice.
