TOPIC: Tokens on eBay

Tokens on eBay 8 years 9 months ago #1

I listed some rare tokens on eBay:

www.ebay.com/sch/dautzen/m.html?item=231616198844&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

They end this Sunday. Pick up at GenCon is fine with me to save you the postage costs.

There are some miniatures listed as well.

Those turtles are fucking dope. You wouldn't happen to have an extra set for trade would you? Splinter, Shredder, and the mousers would be awesome too. Please lmk if you have any to trade or plan to sell more in the future.

Sorry, I only have the one. I was shocked at the price the turtles got to so quickly! I wish I did have more.

I had the same reaction when I found out there were Dark Crystal minis!

I bought the MOTU ones years ago when one of the toy stores closed here, and stumbled across them this past week while cleaning. I'd heard they had some value, so on to eBay they went to hopefully get me some extra GenCon cash.

I picked up and painted the TMNT miniatures when they came out, they are great. I've also got a set of the numbered and hand-colored buttons, I think that they are the first TMNT merchandise.

Hey Mike, I thought that the comic books of the TMNT was the first merchandise as I could remember because I was in high school when they became popular graphic novels as well as comic books. But to extensive the market of merchandise into cartoon T.V., toys, then the miniature came out big in between late 80's or the early 90's. I doing understand that D & D miniature were in the separate market until the comic store incorporate their inventory. My first comic book was called the Warlord was given by my mother in early age. Beside I will PM soon enough about something else that I need to know about it.

Hi Dial,

You're right, the comics came first, but I wasn't counting them as merchandise because the comics were the start of the Turtles. The Warlord comic was great, Mike Grell was at the top of his game,
it's a good one to start with.

Mike
