I don't think it's officially confirmed (and these kind of things are always subject to change), but after Jeff gave his MEC ruling, I posted that I was recommending it be reprinted the next (this upcoming) year, and Jeff responded in a way which many of us interpreted as confirmation that it will be reprinted this year.

Sorry - should have been more clear that early indications are it is thought to be likely. Similar comments were made last year about the cloak of shadowskin and LoDS so recent history seems to bear it out but nothing will be official until the early proposed token info is out.

This year I believe it is being done earlier than prior years (maybe part pf the season schedule change?) We’ll find out not long after Gencon is what I remember (definitely correct me if I a, wrong). It is also possible the MEC mechanics could change like with both the LoDS and Shadowskin and allow for itto be exchanged for the new version.

I doubt there will be any modifications to the MEC. Jeff looked into it after significant debate on both sides and decided that it wasn't overpowered and didn't need to be nerfed like the LoDS and CoSS.
